What Does Vintage Mean Anyways?

What Does Vintage Mean Anyways?

We are dedicated to bringing you true vintage gems, but what exactly does that mean?

Many people consider items which are 20 years or older to be true 'vintage' items. How can we tell if something is vintage or not?

After gaining years of experience with vintage items, there are signs to look for when searching for oldies. Tells range from the condition of the item, to the tag or brand of the item, all the way to the type of fabric that was used to make it.

It really comes down to knowledge and research at the end of the day. Knowing the timelines of fabric popularity, cuts of items, prints, textures, how or where the item was made, and anything in between all give us clues when we are looking into an item.

There are other terms which people may use to describe older items, such as deadstock.

Deadstock is a term used for an item which is no longer available from its original retailer, and has never been worn, used, and still has its original tags attached.

We consider all of these things when we are searching for items, and we strive to bring you only the highest quality vintage items for every style and from every era.

Now get vintage with us, Heck Yes Babes!

xoxo
